To determine a clear approach to the project, extensive research was undertaken. The study included industry based analysis aimed at understanding the practices of the international shipping industry.

When demonz media presented the original concept with the layout and navigation structures, it was accepted by Maersk Sealand immediately. It gave users a clear navigation structure and the visual aesthetics of the design were exactly inline with the Maersk Sealand corporate branding.

The main feature of the cd-rom is the computer based training tutorials. Demonz media developed 12 tutorials for the e-business section of the new website, with introductory tutorials for both the website and the cd-rom. They are all fully animated tutorials that simulate the whole e-business process from start to finish. Handy Text summaries of the process is shown throughout the tutorials, with a professional voiceover explaining the procedures to be followed in greater detail.

The entire cd-rom, including its tutorials can be accessed in either English or German and users can switch between languages on the fly at anytime. Development also entered into areas such as style guide evaluation & implementation , advanced lingo coding techniques and copywriting.

The amazing potential of "doing business online" would soon be realised. The main aim of this project was to maximise the return on the IT Investment for the new Maersk Sealand website and cd-rom. Maersk Sealand was very open in saying that demonz media had exceeded all their expectations with the project.
