Website Updates
Internet Explorer 7 is almost here
The demonz have been busy over the last few days updating our client websites to coincide with the release of Internet Explorer 7. If you have a site with demonz media, rest assured new users of Internet Explorer 7 will be able to see your website in all its glory. The new version is due out sometime this October. Microsoft has decided to make it available via an automatic update. If you do not want Internet Explorer 7 for some reason, you will have to download a blocking toolkit – however, we think its a must upgrade for Internet Explorer 6 users.
Information on the new Internet Explorer 7 and “Release Candidate 1” version are available from the Microsoft Internet Explorer site.
Flash...
Thinking outside the box
Hello to all our Flash users out there.
Has anyone noticed recently that flash components on the web have been appearing with a grey outline? Recent security updates from Microsoft have been effecting the displaying of Flash controls within websites and causing a “grey box” effect to appear around them. Accompanying the box is usually some text which asks to “click to activate control”...not cool!
Well thanks to our head of software development, Nayanuka Herath, demonz media has come up with a new solution for all you groovy flash users out there. You will now notice that this irritating box has been removed from all our flash thanks to a little demonz innovation. Thanks Nuke. Microsoft, what do they know.
Note: This is only an issue if you are using Internet Explorer.

Aylin is our new tailor sales specialist, customer relations manger and general “webaholic”. She has been plucked from the midst of the Generation Y phenomenon that is sweeping the nation, so we are expecting great things from her...Yes Aylin that is a hint.

New operating system for windows!
The new windows operating system, “Vista” is on the way.
Demonz has been given a sneak preview of the new Windows Vista operating system...and the news is good.
Microsoft has come up with a much more user friendly operating system...with a new user centric approach to interface design, and a choice of windows versions, the gap between Apple and Microsoft has never been closer.
The word on the Street is that it will be out by the end of January 2007.
