Demonz Spotlight: Mobile Connectivity

Does anyone remember the days when texting was the peak of mobile communication? No, just us then, is it?

As Internet and mobile become increasingly intertwined,
particularly as a consequence of social media 2.0 platforms, it’s no surprise
that ‘companion’ applications for mobile have emerged. Online auction site eBay
has recently released its own mobile application for the iPhone titled ‘eBay
Fashion’. The program sports in-built processes to bid on and purchase items
alongside a ‘closet’ where a user can combine and arrange their favourite eBay
items to create different looks and styles. A veteran example of this kind of connectivity
would be the Yelp application, which has been providing reviews according to
geographical location for over two years.

The benefits for consumers are numerous. Not only do users
have access to content when they are away from their computers, features like
GPS and directories reach their fullest potential in hand-held devices when
addresses, directions, reviews, advice, and more can be reached on the go.

Demonz Media offer mobile web services for large and small
enterprises. Check out http://www.demonzmedia.com/
