Solution

This project required Demonz Media to construct an online presence to promote Miranda Kerr's organic skin care range, KORA. An attractive and easy-to-use website, complete with Ecommerce functionality was developed, designed to accomodate expansion in the range, sales, and Miranda Kerr's online presence. An internal content management system for easy updates, a member' area, and Search Engine Optimisation were also completed as a key part of the project.

Extensive research was undertaken in the preliminary stages in order to establish the existent online market, target audience, industry standards, competitors and Kora's distinctive edge. A phased strategy was developed, incorporating design and marketing perspectives. Priority was given to a subtle, elegant feel, combined with simple, easy-to-use functionality. Emphasis was also placed on the ability of the website to expand, whether for new products in the range or an increase in the site's user base. Using Drupal, a content administration system was developed for Kora's staff that would enable them to easily update information and process Ecommerce transactions. A member's system was integrated into this system so that returning customers could complete new transactions more smoothly.

The result is an online presence that instantly communicates the conceptualisation of the brand, whilst browsing and purchase are easy and functional.

Miranda's focus on healthy living and organic products will be incorporated with the building of an online community with access to a variety of new content and multimedia. Coming soon, the Kora website will feature an exclusive member's area with downloads and resources, with direct outreach to social media 2.0 platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
